CUSTOM VEHICLE GRAPHICS

Vehicle Graphics are one of the most cost effective marketing asset your company has and are relatively inexpensive. You will always be promoting your business wherever you go!

From custom racing stripes to commercial fleet lettering, vinyl vehicle graphics have long been a mainstay of the digital graphics industry.

According to an independent study conducted by the American Trucking Association

  • A wrapped vehicle that travels in or around a major city generates more than 65,000 visual impressions per day.

  • A wrapped vehicle that travels in suburban areas generates more than 30,000 visual impressions per day.

  • 98% of consumers feel that fleet graphics create a positive image for the company.

  • 96% say fleet graphics has more impact than other forms of

       outdoor media (billboards, for example).

Graphics can be wrapped around any surface of your vehicle. This includes hoods, curved areas, and bumpers. Your business’ branding and advertising are kept in mind with the design of your vehicle.

Having too much information will result in having many letters spread out all over a car which will confuse the viewer and your message. It is best to keep this simple.

Spot Graphics or Lettering?

Spot graphics or lettering are typically found on a small area of the vehicle. Spot and lettering graphics can be viewed and can be very effective based on how well the graphics are designed and installed..

So, Which Is Better?

The answer to this question depends on what you are looking for. Below is an assessment of how wraps and lettering stack up on a variety of aspects:

Cost – Vehicle wraps are typically more expensive than spot graphics. However, the chances of the spot graphic or lettering surviving long term are low if high quality vinyl is not used. Over the course of time, the cost of lettering could potentially be more compared to the one-time investment in a long-lasting vehicle wrap.

Number of Impressions – Let’s say for the sake of demonstration that you choose vehicle vinyl lettering. Businesses that do this will miss out on the ability to show images of what that business does. According to research, vehicle wraps typically get up to 70,000 visual impressions per day per vehicle. Spot graphics or Lettering do not have the same level of impact.

Return on Investment – Both spot graphics and vehicle wraps provide you with 24 hour a day, seven day a week advertising. However, the return on investment for wraps outpaces that of lettering. In a recent survey, 95 percent of bystanders said they noticed graphics. However, vinyl letters tend to be more likely to get lost in traffic.

Size – Compared to lettering or spot graphics, the graphics capabilities become much greater with vehicle wraps. The visuals are better with wraps, which can cover a lot of real estate on your vehicle. They make the most of white space with tastefully designed graphics. Since we live in a visual world, our eyes naturally gravitate to graphics over lettering.

Perhaps the best way to think of it is graphics get the attention of pedestrians and drivers, and spot graphics gives them the information they need. Both options are great for advertising your business, but when they are used in conjunction, you can have the biggest impact.

Letters are created just by cutting solid color stocked vinyl. The downside to this option is that you probably won't have a very unique or especially eye-catching design.
